Rotterdam is situated along coast of North Sea. It is the second greatest town of the Netherlands. You can find there the biggest port in Europe, known as „A Gate to Europe“.  It was very busy port of all over the world, for relatively long time period. Shanghai  Port in China outstripped Rotterdam recently.

Great part of photogallery is dedicated to photos from boat sightseeing navigation trip. This survey offers, except beautiful outlooks towards admirable town´s architecture, a possibility to have a look at this gigantic port. Although Rotterdam is an important industrial centre, it would be a surprise for you how many green surfaces are surrounding you. On the other hand, a bicycle belongs to most ecological and used way of transport not only in Rotterdam but generally in the whole Netherlands.

I am falling with Netherlands more and more. During my third visit in this country, in April 2014, I was enchanted by Utrecht. It used to be the most important Dutch city south of Amsterdam. Its population of slightly more than 300,000, is perfectly suited to a group of cities that are not too small but not too big. If we add to this the fact that there is the largest university in the country, it is clear that it will be a quiet and pleasant city, which is on the other hand really alive.
