The city offers visitors an architectural and gourmet experience, which certainly cannot do without visiting a church. The sacral buildings attract not only their spiritual atmosphere, but also their art. Come with us to visit a few of them and learn what art jewels are hiding under their vaults.

Our goal was to manufacture this specialty. Together, today, we look behind the scenes of prosciutto - the goodness that the world has fallen in love with.

In times when we can't go exploring other cultures, it may come in handy to look around. One of these monuments, which we may have perceived in recent years only as meeting points, are the plague columns.
Sometimes I get the impression that this part of Italy is a bit forgotten, and yet it is so beautiful. Calabria is located in the south of the Apennine Peninsula and is known mainly for its long beaches, beautiful landscape, national parks, nature and great cuisine.
Whenever we go on vacation, one of the first things we look for is the highest mountain on the island. It is already our tradition to try to look at the highest point of the area. It will not be different today. We set off to the highest mountain in Sardinia, which is Punta la Marmora with a height of 1,834 m above sea level.
More than two thirds of Sardinia are covered by mountains. They do not reach dizzying heights, but you will find beautiful and unspoiled nature. It is therefore not surprising that this island is a popular outdoor Mediterranean destination with interesting treks. If there is a place in Sardinia where it will feel completely small, it is the Su Gorropu canyon. The rock sides of the gorge rise to a height of 500 meters, making it the deepest gorge in Europe.
Traveling during the corona crisis brings with it considerable positives. One of them is that the number of tourists has been reduced to a minimum, so you can be completely alone on some beaches. We did it too. Let's take a look today at the northwest of the island, which offers beautiful beaches, diverse nature and true tranquility.

This time we will take you to the scenic lowlands of the Emilia-Romagna region, through which runs the River of Po. We will visit the famous city of Modena, which is also known for the impressive voices of its natives Luciano Pavarotti and Mirell Freno.
The town of bel-canta (beautiful singing), music and theater is not only for art lovers, but also for those who love the black horses under the hood. Since the end of the 19th century, Modena has been known as the center of mechanical engineering and subsequent production of well-known brands - Ferrari, De Tomaso, Pagani and Maserati. Modena is now known as the industrial heart of Italy, but it does not shrink its beauty. This historic city - the seat of a bishop, university, production of balsamic vinegar and wine - attracts all visitors. We head straight to the square with the cathedral, which has been listed on UNESCO World Heritage since 1997.
Cremona is the place to nourish all your senses. We have seen and touched beautiful architectural jewels, listened to irresistible sounds of violin, and it is time to reward our taste buds. In the city, you do not just feel the scent of wood and see the colors of the violin workshops, but you can also smell the goodies they prepare in local taverns.
Even though the city is a commercial and industrial center now, the seat of the gas and oil refineries, and the World War II has hit its historcal heart, it still offers a number of beautiful historical monuments. In the following lines, we will look into its center and enjoy the local architectural gems.
