The Pearl of Slovakia it is Kosice. The second largest Slovakian city is the home to the famous Golden Treasure of Kosice as well as Main Street – its historical street where the most important sights of Kosice are. We talk about St Elizabeth’s cathedral, Urban’s Tower or the State Theatre. Everybody finds something interesting here. There are amazing restaurants, great accommodation, original stores, mysterious nooks . All of this is on one place. Join us for a trip to Kosice!

The easternmost region in Slovakia which neighbors Ukraine and Poland is covered by a UNESCO-grade area which has not been discovered by tourists yet.
On the following lines we take you to eastern Slovakia to the world-famous Tokaj wine region. We will not visit wine cellars, however but an observation tower unique for its architectonic style and vista it offers.
Last week we set off to explore Slovensky Raj, the area between Smizany and Cingov villages. This part of the trail goes across meadows, forest paths and roads. However, there was greater challenge ahead. Prulom Hornadu is area known for is know climbing irons and safety chains.
Close to St. Elizabeth Cathedral, just in the heart of city centre of East Slovakian town of Košice, another jewel of Gothic architecture - St. Michael Chapel - is to be found.
Before Kosice received status of the Europan Culture Capital in 2013, nobody had known about it. However, it has becoming increasingly popular and today Kosice is one of the most visited cities in the region. Slowly it changes from an industrial center to center of culture and edcuation. Let's see Kosice for ourselves.
Gemer region is known for beautiful nature and places of history. We visit one of them. Today, we visit the town of Roznava situated in the basin of the same name. It is surrounded by the grandiose Volovske Hills and the unique Slovakian Karst.
Today we move to Slovakia’s third largest city to learn about its beauties, sights and interesting facts. It is situated in the region which gave it its name. The city is also famous for the Shroud of Turin. Last but not least, the city is the place from where you enter diverse region of Saris. Maybe you have guessed what this article is about. Yes, it is Presov.
About 3 kilometers from Roznava town there is Betliar, a fabulous small village. There is the most visited chateau in southeast Slovakia and also beautiful nature park the history of which began in the 18th century.
In case you fancy less known places in nature then today is your day as we take you to the mountain area of Galmus that is situated in the north of the Volovske Hills. The area is about 20 kilometers from Spisska Nova Ves and also near to Krompach.
Once we took a look at parks, the singing fountain, or the underground of Main Street we move to city’s most famous sights.
When we left the East Slovakian Museum we set off for a walk along Kosice’s pride – Main Street. In this street, the majority of the most important sights is located.
Today we visit the eastern metropolis – Kosice. We visit one of the oldest and most important Slovakian museums – East Slovakian Museum. We tell you something about its foundation and individual exhibitions.
We haven’t visited Slovakia’s second largest city for quite a long time. We cme upon a decision to change this. We packed our things, start our car and drove to the east.
The metropolis of the east welcomed us with open hands. We saw its most beautiful thing – the Gold Treasure of Kosice. We inspected it thoroughly and with great deal of enthusiasm. Then we moved on to see other interesting galleries in the museum.
