Southwest of the confluence of the Danube and the river Hron lies the town of Štúrovo, which abounds in several unique sights. These are, for example, the waterfront promenade offering a view of the breathtaking Classicist Esztergom Basilica, the Baroque parish church of St. Imrich, the Marie Valérie cross-border bridge, a memorial park with monuments or, last but not least, the sought-after Vadaš thermal swimming pool.

When discovering the beauties of Slovakia, this time we will stop in the warmest, southernmost and certainly also the most tolerant city, which stretches southwest of the confluence of the Danube and the Hron River. You probably already know that in the following lines we will set out to explore the border town of Štúrovo.
The week has passed like water and we are returning to the southernmost town in Slovakia - Štúrovo. Today we will go for sights and tourist attractions.
In the most southern and warmest regions of Slovakia lies the picturesque town of Komárno, where live about 36 thousand inhabitants.
Komárno and its surroundings are an ideal place to spend a pleasant weekend. The first spring days are ideal for exploring places. When the sun is shining already, but still not warm, comes the most appropriate period for a walk in history and culture of this border town.
Once one city on the Danube, now two separate cities in two different states. One on Slovak - Komárno and one in neighboring Hungary - Komárom. And the city of Komárom today we head for knowledge of His beauty and rich history.
The district city of Nové Zámky originally built on the marshes, is situated on the banks of the river of Nitra and in addition to the city's cultural heritage offers its residents and visitors a wealth of sports and leisure centres, which are characteristic of it.
Today we will take you to the district Dunajská Streda, more precisely to the village of Velky Meder in the southern part of the Rye Island. We will guide you through history, visit a few sights and of course do not miss perhaps the biggest attraction of the town - thermal water park.
This time we will visit a small town whose name is mentioned daily in Slovakia in the weather reports. In addition to its predictions, it is also known for its observatory, which is the oldest in Slovakia and allows to uncover the secrets of the night sky.
Is there anyone in Slovakia who hasn't heard of Hurbanovo yet? This town is known for its weather forecasts or the golden drink that has been produced here for years. We have not missed our attention either. After visiting the observatory, we will take you through its streets today.
Only a few kilometers from the border with Hungary, a city was established, which, thanks to its golden water, became known outside Slovakia.
