Take a hiking trip with us on the highest peak of the Pieniny Mountains. They are Vysoké Skalky (1050 m above sea level), towering over the village of Stráňany. On the Polish-Slovak border you can enjoy views of unspoiled nature, the majestic peaks of the Tatras and the iconic Three Crowns, or even see the nearby Ľubovňa Castle. Mountain meadows and lush forests provide a fantastic break from everyday life.

Today, wandering shoes take us to the Pieniny National Park, which is the smallest national park in Slovakia, but its beauty and uniqueness is one of the most beautiful. The goal of our tourist walk will be the highest peak of the local mountains - Vysoké Skalky.
Autumn is the most colorful period of the year and one of the most suitable for exploring the beauty of Slovakia. This time we will take you to the village of Červený Kláštor, where we will experience an amazing adventure in the form of a rippling river.
Today we will travel to northeastern Slovakia, to a place close to Stara Lubovna. To the town of Hniezdne. Here you may find a tourist attraction which you would hardly see anywhere else around here.
Rafting is adrenaline water sport on wild water. There are crews of two to six that sails on rubber inflatable boats. Even in Slovakia this sport became highly popular and each year there are many people who start practicing it.
In the northeastern cornerof Slovakia, in the region of Presov, you will discover the small town of Stara Lubovna. A majestic castle of the same name rises above the town.. Let us now visit it together and see the exhibition in the Museum of Folk Architecture.
Today we will take you to the peaceful area of Zamaguria, which stretches in the northeast of Slovakia. We will visit Cerveny Klastor Smerdzonka baths, where healthy mineral water flows since ever. Rumors of the healing water under Tri Koruny (982 m.) beagn to spread as early as the 14th century, when Carthusian and later Kamaldul monks from a nearby monastery used it for their healing practice.
Many spa localities are available in Slovakia, and most of them are based on healing sources. So, such numerous hot springs.and their healing effects were known to people in past. And, no doubt, Vyšne Ružbachy Spa, belongs to them, too.
As we promised in the last article, today our journey in the royal city Kežmarok ends at the castle. Kezmarok Castle, which was one of the few forts in the world that does not stand on a hill, hides many interesting and mysterious nooks. We will visit these in this article.
Last week we wandered in a royal city under the Tatras - Kezmarok and today we will continue in this visit. This time we go to the streets of the historic center, where we will meet with dominant architectural gems.
