Small Carpathians have their special charm in every season. Particularly charming are the mountains in the fall, in October, when forests of the Small Carpathians begin to change their color. The territory of the Protected Landscape Area of the Small Carpathians is mainly covered with deciduous forests.During the fall, the green hills of this mountain range turn into color heaven with a number of distinctive colors. The trees turn into yellow, the ground is covered in brown-red or orange-red . The leaves of the trees gradually fall off and create soft carpets on the ground. The days are shorter, it is cooler, in the higher positions we are not surprised by the first ground frost. Carpathian nature is so slowly preparing for sleep, for the forthcoming fourth season - winter.
