Near Slovakian, Hungary and Austrian borders there is unique Neusiedl Lake. It is the only lake, together with Balaton in Hungary, is the only steppe lake in Europe. Its uniqueness is even greater as there is unique fauna and flora and two national parks. Lake and parks are included in the UNESCO National Heritage Sites. There is vast network of bike trails and interesting gastro events, which attract tourists.

We have good news for everybody who loves shopping and fashion. Today’s destination is the most popular outlet shopping center in Austria.
Wien is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. It offers its visitors rich history, beautiful architecture and unusual gastronomical joys. Again, we go to visit this royal city and walk in the most beautiful castle in whole Austria. It is so beautiful they compare it to French Versailles.
Beautiful summer days are the best to visit the picturesque town of Rust at the bank of Neusiedler See (Fert lake in Hungarian).
These days we received a new bike map of Lower Austria. Except of 7 TOP trails, there are bike trails suitable for families with small children. Also, you can find there routes for more demanding bikers. And, last but not least, there are new tips for star treks with places where are attractions and adventurous places.
Should you try to find some tips for trips, Lower Austria offers many. You can cool yourself on a boat ride on the largest underground lake in Europe. Or you can travel in time in a nostalgia express. People who love animals and nature can observe their life under water in Unterwasserrreich natural park, or they can watch bears of Arbesbach. And this is hardly everything you can do there.
Me and my friend decided to make a trip. The planning was great. I had look around in many handbooks, searched for inspiration on travel agencies’ websites and so on. Eventually, we agreed upon seeing a beautiful place near Salzburg. The village of Abtenau which would serve as the base for our trips around.
We chose to travel along paid Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse road, a mountain freeway that is 48 kilometers long. But due to various turns and stops it would be quite long…
Lets see one of the most beautiful via ferrates in the Alps. Calm surface of blue salt Traunstein lake is beneath you guarded by the Julian Alps. Dachstein bows in the distance, Totes Gebirge and Bohemian Forest are in the distance. This is Traunstein.
During our bike trials we stoped in the town of Hainburg. This medieval town with Hainburg castle above hides many natural and historical mysteries. One of them is Röthelstein castle ruins hidden in a national park.
Hochsteiermark covers the area from StyrianSemmering to the Hochschwab Mountains and further to the Eisenerz Alps. This mountainous land attract from the time immemorial not only the Austrians but also visitors from other countries to do trips in beautiful and sometimes wild nature.
Near Bratislava close to borders with Austria and Hungary there is an Endorheic and salty Lake Neusiedl. Near Balaton it is the only steppe lake in Europe. Its depth is 2 meters at most and thanks to this it became a paradise for unique fauna and flora. Also it is popular among tourists, sportsmen and everyone who likes nature.
In the previous part of our bike trip we get across Austrian borders. We stopped by at the picturesque town of Wolftshal. Then we continued to our next destination, the town of Hainburg.
In the last article of our bike trip we move from the largest baroque castle compound in Austria, Schloss Hof, across new Bikebridge of Liberty, to the city districts of Slovakia’s capital, Bratislava.

Vienna, a capital of Austria, belongs to most attractive European places of interest, from tourist point of view. The wealth of historical monuments, a great number of architectonical sightseeings as well as many actual topics - all these places, joined with famous names and its stories or legends, make from Vienna a pleasant and always different target for any visitor.
The recreation area of Murtal is located on west from Graz, Styria. There are peaks of the Hohe Tauern, Zirbitzkogel, Seetal and Seckau Alps as well as the hilly Nockberge Mountains.
The last stop of our journey across three countries was Mountain Erberg located in Steiermark. It is known as one of the larges European iron ore sites and it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the whole region.
