Choose one of the three routes according to the length and embark on the Karel Čapek circular path. From the car park in Stará Huť near Dobříš, you will head around the Karel Čapek Memorial, a summer residence where the Czech writer rested and created at the end of his life. At each stop, you can get to know the local history, fauna and flora better by means of information panels. The path is marked with a pictogram of the dog Dášeňka, a puppy from Čapek's most famous children's work.

It's quite cold outside, but would you still like to go on a bike ride? The next bike trip we completed was around a picturesque landscape full of forests near Mníšek pod Brdy and it was definitely a very good choice.
The town of Dobříš is located approx.50 kilometres from Prague. Local Chateau is an attractive stop for tourists who pass by.
Vrch nad Příbramí, where a small wooden chapel for hermits originally stood, has changed over the centuries to the most famous place of pilgrimage in Bohemia. In the 17th century, an extensive building with cloisters and several chapels was built here. The procession of pilgrims is constantly heading here for the statue of the Virgin Mary of Mount Athos.
Dobříš is interesting in itself, but we recommend a trip to the surroundings. The most popular places include the Karel Čapek Memorial on the outskirts of the nearby Stará Huť and Nový Knín associated with gold mining.
As the weather in the Czech Republic has been very warm and sunny in the last days, we used this opportunity to make a nice trip. We set off to Stechovice from Prague's Smichovske nadrazi by bus No. 390. The village is a great point to join the 10-kilometer trail Svatojanske proudy.
The Bohemian Karst offers countless possibilities for beautiful trips - whether on foot, by bike or by boat. One of the most popular destinations is the village in the heart of the protected landscape area - Svatý Jan pod Skalou. Let's go to it together from the nearby village of Srbsko.
This place, which covers mere 4 square kilometers, is regarded as one of the most beautiful in Central Europe. Some say that only Karlstejn or ancient Tetin are better.
Pribram is situated at the edge of the Brdske uphills. This area is known for high mining activity in the past. Also, it is one of the most well-known sites of pilgrimage in the Czech Republic.
Mining industry is one of the things that made Pribram well known. This town is also a place of Svata Hora pilgrimage site. Today we are about to visit the town of Brezove Hory.
Mnisek pod Brdy located below Brdsky Ridge, is a great place to set off on a trip around beautiful surroundings of Brdy. The town it self is also interesting.
In what other season when everything blossoms, one should this chateau? Also, the state chateau located in Mnisek pod Brdy, is extraordinary. Especially a park there.
Sedlčany is a town with rich history, documented just from the end of 10th century. Even James Krčín, one of most famous Bohemian fishermen, let his traces there. After 1580, he administrated the town and founded well known Svět and Rožmberk Ponds in South Bohemia.
Last week, we introduce you to the town, situated on the border of Kokorín Forest and the Cesky Kras, with Horovice in Central Bohemia. Today, we invite you to Horovice castle, the main tourist attraction.
Horovice in the Region of Central Bohemia just offers itself as a mandatory stop during your journey across Horovicko microregion. They are also known for their good cast on show jumping.
