On the northern top of the small Žitný island is situated hungarian town Dunakiliti. The town is limited by the waters of Danube and Mošonský Danube. The town is an entrance gate to the nature full of wild animals, doe, deers and wild swines. On the trip to his land untouched by the man, you will fell like you are in a rain forest. There are lianas hanging from trees, bushes, and grasses give this place feeling of mistery and adventure. This will encourage you to discover unusual beauties of the island.
Nearby you can find impressive Dunakliti weir, which plays the role of billower of Danube's waters to serve its purpose to Čulovo basin. The most appropriate time to visit the weir in evenings, when the sun slowly sets under the horizon. This view not only pleasure eye, but also soul.;-).

Five-parts excursion in Hungary is an inspirative talk about interesting places, life style and history of a state, which have more common things with Czech Republic, as originally expected. So, first part is dedicated to a question, why to visit Humgary, why not to be afraid of non-organized travelling, and we shall learn couple ow words in Hungarian language, too.
Take a trip with us. We will go a short distance outside Bratislava, more precisely to the village of Zálesie (historically Gessayov), which offers interesting history, but mainly a natural attraction attracting thousands of visitors.
In Dunajska Streda district situated about 40 kilometers southeash from Bratislava, there is Gabcikovo town. The first document declaring its existance comes from 1102. In the town, there is a chateau with towers, or St Margarita Roman Catholic church constructed in 1397.
Today we will visit a wonderful and interesting technical sight – a water wheel mill in Jelka. Jelka is situated in southwest Slovakia in beautiful nature surrounding the Little Danube.
The city of Sopron is located near Hungary-Austrian borders. Due to this fact the city speaks officially with two languages. Today we will introduce you not only the history of this city which suffered of many wars, but we will take you also outside its borders to let you enjoy its nature, which will feast your eyes.
Šamorín, a town of nearly 14 thousand, is situated in western Slovakia less than 25 kilometres southeast of Bratislava. The rye-island town is surrounded by the Danube Lowland and is divided into five parts, namely Šamorín, Bučuháza, Čilistov, Královianky, Mliečno and two historical parts Gančháza and Šámot.
The picturesque Hungary town of Tihany lies in Vesprem county in the district of Balatonfüred, but such positioning of the Czechs or Slovaks, most will say a lot. Well just add that Tihany is located on a peninsula of Lake Balaton, as many already know exactly where to look.

In the last part, we were talking about the history of the town in a beautiful area of the Lower Danube. Today we will talk more about historic sights and town’s icons and also we will focus on tourist industry. Many tourists from far visit Mosonmagyaróvár each year.
On a confluence of the Mošonský Dunaj and the River Litava, not far from Slovak borders, there is a beautiful town with houses built mostly in baroque or classicist style. The name of the town is Mosonmagyaróvár and it was founded in 1939 when settlements Moson and Magyaróvár merged.
You would better say - the towns in puszta. As mentioned before, south-east part of Hungary merits special prolonged weekend stay, bringing you completely different experience, in comparison to western part of the country, moreover, the countryside is completely different.
Even in time period between World Wars, there was a proverb that Hungarians are divided into two nations - inhabitants of Budapest, and those, who are not living in Budapest, countryside people („videki emberek“). This distinguish was really given with enormous differences between capital and small Hungarian villages.
Budapest, capital of Hungary, is better (as mentioned before) to visit with some travel agency for the first time. Circular tour does not miss all most important sightseeings, of course.
Anyway, even without assistance, you are able to find your way.
