If you love nature in winter then go to Rozsutec Mala Fatra national park . There are three gorges you can access. In them are bizarre rock formations and, in winter, nature’s art works on them. You won’t regret to see icicles, frozen waterfalls and so on. True feast for eyes are the Janosik Holes.

Small Fatra Mountains - this is most accessible mountaneous target of all Czechs, travelling to Slovakia. The village of Terchová, placed approx. 25 kilometres distant from Žilina, is a mian centre of Small Fatra.
Experience an attractive vacation at the end of the summer. You can experience it in the Baroque-Classicist Chateau Cicmany constructed at the end of the 18th century, which has recently undergone a complete reconstruction and offers visitors fantastic service and breathtaking excursions to the surroundings.
The Mala Fatra is a known and renown area. We hardly need to introduce it to you. This mountain range, along the High, Western, and Low Tatras, is considered one of the most beautiful and most visited mountain ranges in Slovakia. In the article today, we take you on a winter hike onto the main ridge of the Mala Fatra and its second highest peak of Maly Krivan.
Last week we climbed Velky Rozsutec and intentionally walked around Janosik’s Holes (Janosikove Diery). This phenomena is so beautiful and unique we must devote one entire article to describe them. So today we see the most popular and most well-known tourist attraction in the Mala Fatra National Park.
Skialpinism has becoming increasingly popular. Hence we became interested in a relatively new book which contains a selection of the best skialpine rides in the mountains of Slovakia.
Tourism is great in winter as well. And this was our motto for our trip to the Mala Fatra Mountains and its peak Velky Rozsutec, the dominant sight of the mountain range.
Although winter for us this year is very generous in terms of snow, completely free of snow, we're just left. Although not all ski resorts have sufficient snowy, winter sports enthusiasts will certainly come into their own, mainly thanks to artificial snow.
If you are among those who love nature, enthusiastic tourist, or winter sports lover, or mountain biking enthusiasts then you know that hills covered with woods, alpine meadows, and great ski slopes are the things that the Mala Fatra offers. And last but not least there are magnificent panoramas.
The Mala Fatra mountains, north Slovakia, is a popular destination for holidaymakers. The Mala Fatra is mostly covered by dense forests, the highest mountains of this range are bare. Mincol is a well-known mountain of the Mala Fatra. The mountain is inseparable from the Lucanska part of the range.
A place great for relax and sports is at the edge of the city of Martin. Its Jedlovina Urban Forest, longtime place for relax, business meetings, tourism, or just hike in nature. We decided to visit it as well.
