Massive floods hit the Czech Republic and except the Region of Pardubice and Moravia, it affected the whole country, including Prague. In Prague the River Vltava reached the peak on Tuesday at 6am.

Apocalypse in the Czech Republic – this could be a one name for events of couple of last days. Large floods hit the Czech Republic with a similar intensity as in the year 2002. That year the water level was so high as it was a hundred year water. The Czech Republic was better prepared than before, despite all of effort water caused heavy damages in the country.

The forest-park on the south-eastern edge of Prague, founded at the beginning of the 18th century as a part of the Milíčov Court, is perfect for a walk on a hot summer day. The paths take you to relaxation areas, a children's playground or ponds where people can swim. However, bathing dogs is prohibited.
