Near the northwestern shore of Balaton, Heviz town is located. It is famous for thermal healing water which is warm enough that you can swim there all year round. Structures with terraces that look like if they were floating are above the surface. Inside is a complex with spas, thermals pools and all facilities. Everything is connected to beaches and everywhere you can swim through corridors to pools or back to the lake.
A man is in harmony with nature here as the lake is full of animal species and plants. On its muddy bottom, lotus and lily thrive, the latter being in the coat of arms of the city. Europe’s largest thermal lake is not only the main attraction in this town yet it is an important source of finance.
