The English-style castle park was founded in the 19th century and the Renaissance chateau in the 16th century. Its predecessor was a water fortress which occupied an area of 42 hectares. It belongs to the private property of the Sternberg family. In addition to rare shrubs, trees, pink and water gardens, there are many animals in the park. A sought-after place is a feast with noble white daffodils. They get their pure white color after two to three years.
The two-storey Castolovice chateau with its historically decorated interiors is considered one of the treasures of the Hradec Kralove Region.

It has remained the seat of the dominion.

First time I got into Hradec was when taking pictures in the Orlicke Mountains. It fell in love with the city instantly. I get off my car, looked at the First-Republic houses facades, looked at faces of several people and I knew that I wasn’t here for the last time.
