On picturesque Krupinska plain lays the town of Bzovík. Right next to it is a citadel designed to defend the land against Turkish troops. In our photogallery you can now visit this place. The whole medieval complex is accssible for free. Omnipresents signs, however, warns you of risk you might take if there. Please accept our invitation for a short walk in one of the oldest architectonic sights in Slovakia.

Banska Bystrica is often looked at as the heart of the country below the Tatras. There one of the most important memorials in Slovakia is located. It reminds the nation of the second world war and Slovak resistance to fascism.
This time we go to Rimavska Sobota. There we visit the fifth oldest museum in Slovakia – The Gemersko-Malohont Museum. We take a look at its permanent exhibitions which take you to amazing history.
In the Slatina River valley, about 14 kilometers from Zvolen, there is the village of Viglas and above, the castle Viglas stands proudly. It is this castle we decided to visit during our trip across Slovakia.
The district city of Nové Zámky originally built on the marshes, is situated on the banks of the river of Nitra and in addition to the city's cultural heritage offers its residents and visitors a wealth of sports and leisure centres, which are characteristic of it.
Today we move together to Novohrad region. We visit the most interesting nooks of this small town. Also we walk around a beautiful ruin of Filakovsky Castle.
In the heart of Slovakia is located a historical town which is also a UNESCO town. We go there today. It is unique Banska Stiavnica famous for history of mining and many important sights.
In beautiful district of Krupina there are many interesting places worth visiting. This time we set as our goal the town of Bzovik. This small town is known as a former Cistercian abbey. However, our journey will not end there.
Bzovik - is it a fortificated monastery or anti-Turkish citadel? Where is to be found, how to get there, or, when and why this complex was constructed? - All these fact could be read in today's article.
Not that big town Krupina where lives about 8000 inhabitants is situated in the southern part of central Slovakia on the route Elected - Šahy. At first impression it could seems that this place is not that interesting for tourists, but it is not like that. Definitely you should visit it.
Krupina town, located approximately in the middle of the triangle formed by towns of Zvolen, the Levice and Velký Krtíš we'll visit for the second time. In the last article we approached the location of this city, and presented probably the most popular monument in the area - Turkish wells. Today we will talk about the history of Krupina and we´re inviting you to the nearby watchtower Vartovka.
The month of May is often called “a time for love”. It means that one should do walks either in couple or together with your children or beloved parents. What about to go for a walk together, a whole family? Today we celebrate Mothers Day. It would be nice to spend it all together.
