Take a walk with us from Vrátná valley, where you can find also the biggest summer and winter tourism center. From the Vrátná hut we follow the green marked trail to the Snilovský klippe, from where we will join the blue-marked hiking trail that goes to the Chrapáky crossroads and then to the Kraviarske peak (1361 meters above sea level). Then we return to the saddle behind Kraviarský, from where we follow the green marked trail back to Vrátná dolina. During the tour we are surrounded by beautiful mountains and picturesque views, which you can see in the photo gallery below.

Although winter for us this year is very generous in terms of snow, completely free of snow, we're just left. Although not all ski resorts have sufficient snowy, winter sports enthusiasts will certainly come into their own, mainly thanks to artificial snow.
Today we visit Lower Turiec, more precisely the city of Turany, which lies less than 11 kilometers from the capital of Slovak culture - Martin.
If you are among those who love nature, enthusiastic tourist, or winter sports lover, or mountain biking enthusiasts then you know that hills covered with woods, alpine meadows, and great ski slopes are the things that the Mala Fatra offers. And last but not least there are magnificent panoramas.
Tourism is great in winter as well. And this was our motto for our trip to the Mala Fatra Mountains and its peak Velky Rozsutec, the dominant sight of the mountain range.
Last week we climbed Velky Rozsutec and intentionally walked around Janosik’s Holes (Janosikove Diery). This phenomena is so beautiful and unique we must devote one entire article to describe them. So today we see the most popular and most well-known tourist attraction in the Mala Fatra National Park.
The Mala Fatra mountains, north Slovakia, is a popular destination for holidaymakers. The Mala Fatra is mostly covered by dense forests, the highest mountains of this range are bare. Mincol is a well-known mountain of the Mala Fatra. The mountain is inseparable from the Lucanska part of the range.
