On the western side of the Záhorská lowland, there are two picturesque villages that offer several tourist attractions. The first of them is Veľké Leváre, which attracts Haban culture not only in the local museum, but also in the form of a monument reserve of folk architecture. The jewels of the village are the Church of the Name of the Virgin Mary from 1723, the Haban chapel or a Baroque chateau with a park and a mill from the 18th century. The second village is half the smaller Malá Leváre, offering visitors not only the popular recreational area of Rudava, but also beautiful monuments - a church dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary from the Assumption from 1654, Baroque chapels and bunkers, which are remnants of Czechoslovak pre-war fortifications.
