One of the most sought after exotic destinations in Southeast Asia is the Philippines. Covering over 7,000 islands, this island nation combines paradise beaches lined with coconut groves, lush green forests, vast rice fields, majestic waterfalls, symmetrical hills, the world's smallest primates and incredible underwater life. However, you will also find overcrowded cities, dirty streets or dangerous nooks that should be avoided. These contrasts make this archipelago a unique place worth visiting.
