Decin – this city is a connection of history and natural beauties of Bohemian Switzerland. Last week, we already talked about Decinsky Cahteau. Today we will talk about Decin, Pin Garden, which is part of the chateau and that offers amazing views over the city and beautiful surrounding nature.
Who ever have gone along Elbe to Germany certainly noted beautiful landscape along the river banks. Similar attributes belong to the town of Decin. The town is located on the meeting of the Elbe and Ploucnice rivers. On a cliff above the point where the two rivers meet, there is Decin Chateau, local landmark.
Velke Brezno chateau has several the. It is located near Usti nad Labem, it is the smallest chateau in the Czech Republic. It is also the newest but many consider it one of the most beautiful.
Krasna Lipa – the meaning of these words (Beautiful Linden) seems to predetermine a character of the city, which calls itself the center of Ceske Svycarsko.
Who of you has ever been the ruin of Hazmburk, certainly wanted to go back there. And we are in the same place we visited in the winter, went again - this time in the hot summer, in the right tourist season and more over with a camera.
A basaltic hill with strange shape, that together with other "greats" gives to the České středohoří mountains, for many people undiscovered, glamour - Radobýl. And Kamýk, castle ruins, that offer a perfect view to land.
State castle Ploskovice castle, which is in care of the National Heritage Institute, is another attraction of the Ústí Region. White as snow, guarded by several loud peacocks and set in a green park would not disappoint tourists.
Libochovice prove the rule of uniqueness and charm of towns and villages on the river Ohře. At first glance, a bit messy, but when one looks just a little bit more around, definitely there is something to admire - picturesque corners, centuries old messages on the facades, the local parish, romantic Ohře or directness of local people.
The thermometer shows the six degrees and the air smells of spring. The soles are glued by ubiquitous mud. But mud associated with the end of winter, people take much better than the mud as a symbol of autumn.

Teplice has approx. 50 thousands of inhabitants.However, the city centre remains, during the day, nearly unpeopled. It is cold and the sky was dressed into tedious gray colour shade.
Litoměřice is similar town as Slaný, known as so called King's town. Anyway, this locality deserves well such attribute, especially for the fact that belongs to the oldest Bohemian seats.
"This is too distant and long, similar to Lovosice!" nearly anybody knows such comparison, mostly those individuals who know this town personally. We do not mention the number of letters of this word (many people have such opinion) but we take in mind real length of the locality. So, Lovosice, "The Garden of Bohemia", is really the town of rather big length.
Coming road from Prague gives to forsee that Žatec could be quite extraordinary town. Anyway, if somebody who visits Žatec does not take with any extraordinary impression, this town, not distant from German border, has one actual leading position: it is the greatest one of the whole Louny district,as far as the number of inhabitants concerns.
In manual "Management Technique" (or Typewriter Learning Textbook), the word of "Postoloprty" used to be very applicated expression. This word was long and quite breakneck enough even for efficient typist. Nevertheless, despite the fact that this small town has its strange name, similarly, its past and present time are nearly quite curious.
The town of Louny has not so many sightseeings available, making comparison to Domažlice (West Bohemia) or Slavonice (South Bohemia). Nevertheless, who does not know, how Louny looks like, is not expecting any wonder. Maybe, he could imagine some town of standard level, the choice of which could be wide. On the other hand, the person who knows Louny, is pleased to return there again.
The rake, scythe,flail as well as straw bunch, so, all these subjects the village of Lenešice has in its escutcheon. In past, it was very important agricultural community. At present, the village, situated at Ohře-river, is well known, especially thanks to a church in Romanesque style.
Two years ago, church tower in Lenešice fell down. Nevertheless, local inhabitants did not explain it as a bad sign. And now, it is a couple of days, when a reconstruction will start. The bases are ready. Anyway, it is a merit of Lenešice Embellishing Club, that the church will be renovated. They are doing all possible for a fact, to return the building its original form.
The town of Roudnice nad Labem has available all necessary aspects, in order to become attractive place from tourist point of view. Nevertheless, this town of Ústí Region could miss something...
Říp Hill, quite holy mountain for Czechs, is to be seen for kilometres distance, raising up from moderately undulated countryside. You can mount the top without specially physical efforts. On the other hand, to reach the top by cycle without stop, it is rather problematic.
The ruins of Gothic castle of Oparno could be found in picturesque Oparno Valley, interwoven with Milešov brook, located not far from the town of Lovosice.
The town of Roudnice nad Labem is an attractive place with 14000 inhabitants, situated along left bank of Elbe-river in Litoměřice-district, not far distant from Říp Hill.
The town of Duchcov is situated in North Bohemia on slope of Krušné hory (Ore Mountains), 10 kms distant in western direction from Teplice.
Zubrnice is an ancient village with a skansen of people´s architecture. You find it in Bohemian Highlands, 15 kms distant in eastern direction of Ústí nad Labem.
