CZ: ZOO Jihlava

The smaller one by its wide Jihlava zoo is located in cosy natural area Jihlavka River Valley, near the historic city centre.

It is home for more than 150 kinds of animals from all the world, ZOO specializes in breeding of cats, reptiles and especially monkeys - keeps the largest collection in the Czech Republic.

Lovers of big cats can observes Sumatra tigers behind the glass enclosures, different kinds of leopards or Malaysian bears Adam and Aja, who inhabit the new exhibit Malay Medan.

The unique is African village Matongo with exhibitions of animals and the adjacent island, which is inhabit by attractive lemur.

Those who will fell tired by walking and watching animals, they can relax on one of the many viewpoint, in the Asian garden or get back the power in one of three stylish refreshments.

 Jihlava ZOO also thinks of the smallest ones. In the ZOO area is a lots of climbing frames, kids can visit the contact ZOO, and there are also a new playground with a huge water slide. The garden is adapted to visitors of all ages and disabilities as well.

Service for visitors was recently expanded by parking with a new entrance area, where in addition to the exhibition rooms and the refreshments are also the exhibitions of animals - such as popular meerkats or rare rats.
