SVK: Radola Chateau - The Beauty Is In Simplicity
Radola chateau is one of the oldest historical buildings on Kysuca region and easy can be classified as Renaissance style. In the beginning it was just simple square building, compared with medieval tower.
Later in the 17th chateau was rebuilt, after added a new halls and other residential areas and staircases. It belonged to the manor stables, hops, saw, fruit gardens and ponds. The chateau is surrounded by a low wall over which is no problem to see. Part of area is patiently cared garden, where you can find various flowers and trees.
The chateau is a part of Budatín estate, whose family ruled by Sugoň. In 1798 the owner was changed and the building was included of Csak property. There is a presumption that it was fortified.
Today the gate of this chateau is wide open every day, ready to welcomes visitors who came. It offers them not only permanent exhibitions, but also thematic expositions. That is why there are people have a reason to come back. Muzeum of Kysuce is responsible for every event inside.
