According to the title – Bohemian Paradise - you can conclude that it is something really extraordinary. Nevertheless, for the local citizen it is something standard, normal as anywhere place in the country.

CZ, Krkonose: Vrchlabi – A Town on the Elbe
The famous town of the Krkonose mountain is situated at 477 m under the highest mountain of the Krkonose – Snezka (1603 m). The main landmarks of Vrchlabí is St Lawrence church and the four towers of Vrchlabi chateau. There is also a chateau park which belongs to the chateau and borders the city center. Everything is really close. When heading towards the church, you pass historical houses of original Krkonose architecture. Today there is a visitor's center, souvenir store, and The Krkonose Museum of Vrchlabi.

CZ, Kostelec nad Orlicí – New Chateau of the Kinsky Family
An Empire-style structure from the first half of the 19th century which now houses a chateau cafe is situated in a vast garden, together with a newly renoated homstead structure. From one side, the structures are lined by the Divoka Orlice river and by the road from the other side. Just two kilometers down the road and you will get to the neighboring chateau in Castolovice. Quite a small area features several noble manors of the Region of Hradec Kralove.

CZ, Dvůr Králové nad Labem: Zoo – Safari Park
In Dvůr Králové you will see animals in pavilions and paddocks as well as in open terrain. The connection of the classic zoo with the safari park, which is focused on African animals, fulfills the vision of the founder Josef Vágner. In a vast area full of animals and greenery, there are many quiet zones, children's attractions, restaurants and theme shops. You can also go on a safari with your own car, but you can only see the lions from the safari-style vehicle.

CZ, Adršpašsko-teplické Rocks and the Museum of Mountain Climbing
In today's photo-walk we will visit the area between Adršpach and Teplice nad Metují in East Bohemia. There is one of the most beautiful places in the country - a stunning rock sandstone city. After the tour we will also see the Musem of Mountain Climbing situated in the Adrspach Castle.

CZ, Rychnov nad Kněžnou – Karel Poláček and the Kolowrat Dynasty
The Church of the Holy Trinity, the bell tower with one of the oldest bells in Bohemia and the Baroque complex of Kolowrat Castle are historically the most valuable buildings in the city. You can visit all of them with a guide and transfer to the beginning of the 17th century. A local native and author of the novel There were five of us - the writer Karel Poláček - also left his mark in Rychnov. The sculptural group, the memorial and the Poláček's Summer Theater Festival bear his name.

CZ: Bohemian Paradise Beloved by Tourists
Today we invite you for a walk through the Bohemian Paradise, which lies approximately 90 kilometers northeast of Prague. Although most of the area belongs to the protected landscape area, fans of urban architecture will also enjoy themselves here. Gradually you can enjoy the famous Prachovské rocks, castles Trosky, Kost, Valdštejn, Valečov, the towns of Turnov and Jičín and many other picturesque corners.
