Region of Banská Bystrica - Slovakia
Banska Bystrica Region is located in south part of Central Slovakia, and with its extent of 9445 square kilometres is greatest area of the Republic. On south, it borders with Hungary, on west with Nitra and Trenčín regions, on north with Žilina and Prešov regions, and, finally, on east with Košice region.

Brusno Spa is placed in the centre of Slovak Republic, in north-east direction from the town of Banska Bystrica, in nature valleay, known as Peklo (Hell). You can find here more healing springs, from cold to low thermal ones, at temperature ranging 16-26° C. Local water contains hydrocarbonate, calcite, sulphur and magnesium. The springs are suitable for healing of digestive organs, vein as well as urological problems and diseases of moving apparatus.
The spa offers to the visitors pure air, undisturbed relax and very nice nature, including view towards peaks of Low Tatra Mountains and Slovak Ore Mountains.
