Košice Region, with its extent of 6753 square kilometres, is situated in southeast part of Slovakia. Its southern border is formed with Hungary, eastern with Ucraine, northern with Prešov region and western with Banská Bystrica region.

SK, Kosice - The Metropolis of the East

SK, Slovensky Raj – Nature from the Other World
In the northeast of the Slovak Ore Mountains there is the Slovensky Raj nature park. It was founded in 1988. Its purpose is to protect rare karst formations such as canyons or gorges. Yet there is also rare flora and fauna. Our photogallery is a trip to one of the most frequented places of this green world - you will walk through Prulom Hornadu, the area surrounding Cingov and also the famous Tomasovsky scenic view.
