River description:
The brook springs under Javořice Hill in Jihlavské vrchy (Jihlava Hills) and feeds (under various names) the ponds´system . From Horní Meziříčko is introduced as Hamerský potok.
It flows in southwestern direction in general and mouth into Nežárka in Jindřichův Hradec.
The river-basin makes 221 km2. The brook flows first though meadows and ponds, from Ratmírovský pond overcomes narrow bouldary bed with great slope , moderating in Jindřiš. The river-bed from here is again narrow and overgrown. Before its mouth the brook flows through pond of Vajgar in Jindřichův Hradec. The most popular section has the difficulty relating to WW III, successively WW I, the rest have ZW.
Hamerský brook is navigable during period when the ponds are letting out, this occures regularly the first weekend in October , when in Ratmírov various events are taking place.
As to the navigability – it is suitable the water-index on bridge in Dvoreček 50 cms at least, better is 60 cm. Except of the autumn events- we recommend to investigate the cascades in advance.

The camping or cottage-leasing is possible in camping place in Malý Ratmírov direct on a bank of pond.

It is available in places of Strmilov, Rozkoš, camping Ratmírov, Blažejov, Jindřiš, Jindřichův Hradec.
