This path starts at pier of Turyn Pond. Within Premysl Ottokar II time period, there was founded here a pond. However, it was closed in 1593, and the meadows and pasture-lands were re-newed here. Later, when black coal started to be exploited, the territory began to descent and inundated. So, the pond was renewed again in 1956. Today, it is well known under the name of Malé and Velké Záplavy (Small and Great Inundations). The pond is only 3 meters deep but this descent caused a fact that it could not be let out now. On spots where shallow places reach up to the banks, a lot of reeds is planting. These places are safe for birds, they have their breeding places here. So, sea-gulls, ducks, moor-hens or sedgewarblers are living on these spots. Kalspot wet-place contained more water originally, as at present, but despite this fact, it is still one of most beautiful wet-places of Kladno surroundings. You can see here a lot of reeds, brought here by otters. The various sorts of frogs, such as green or brown frogs, toad green and others are reproducing here. Ducks, sedgewarblers or coots have their breeding places here.
