This dam belongs to the youngest constructions in South Bohemia. It is situated approx.
15 kms of České Budějovice. It is operating since 1977, its purpose is to create the store-magazine of drinking water for the town of České Budějovice and for an aqueduct for South Bohemia.
This dam has a poured pier and is the second youngest dam-pier in this area.
