Today we will together experience an unforgettable cruise along the Bata Channel, which in the past served as a waterway for the transport of lignite from Ratiskovice lying near Skalice, to the distant Otrokovice, but also for irrigation of the surrounding area. Currently it used primarily for recreational purposes. Used for ship passenger with a predominance of sightseeing cruises.

Uherské Hradiště

The town of Uherské Hradiště was founded by King Přemysl Otakar II. in 1257. Natural centre of Slovácko region is well-known with its folkloer, wine, cymbal music and peoples´ traditions, which preserved in Zlín Region up to now.

Litovel

The town of Litovel is situated in Upper-Moravia Dale at the edge of Moravia Furrow in an altitude of 233 m, in northwestern direction, distant 18 kms from Olomouc. Morava-river flows throughout the town, its six arms had well deserved that the town is known as „Venice in Haná“.

Kroměříž

The town of Kroměříž is situated in central part of Moravia, approx. 270 kms distant of Prague, 50 kms in north-east direction from Brno and 30 kms of Zlín. Kroměříž is a town of historical monuments, culture and arts. So it is named as Athens of Haná or Jerusalem of Haná. History of the town comes to 1110, when it was a village only with important bridge across Morava-river.

Napajedla

The town of Napajedla is situated on edge of Wallachia, Moravian Slovakia and Haná. Anyway, this name was not gained by chance. Thanks to its safe watering-place across the river, this place was an important business cross thousand years ago, where merchants stopped, in order to feed and water their horses and to find the food in surrounding forest.
