River Rakovnický brook (Rakovnický brook) - Czech republic
This brook sources in Rakovnická Highlands in southeastern direction of community of Drahouš in an altitude of 569 m of sea level.

The brook is navigable at higher water level only, i.e. after heavy rains or snow thaw. The navigation follows quite quickly, without any obstacles and problems. The brook sources in Rakovnická Highlands in southeaster direction of community of Drahouš in an altitude of 569 m. It flows in southeastern direction to its mouth to Berounka river, near to Křivoklát. Its river basin makes 368 km². The valley is at first a little opean and meadowed, so after several kilometers before its mouth becomes more narrow and some forests appear. The river bed is gravelled, in some places stony of a width 4-8 m. It is clear, in some places embanked, there are no dangerous places. Anyway, we recommend you to check the weirs before navigation.
The brook partially flows through Preserve Nature Area of Křivoklátsko. This limits a movement along some roads and camping, too, of course. As to camping places: you can use in along Berounka, in Roztoky, only.
As to civilization with shopping possibilities as well as first aid we find in Rakovník and Křivoklát. If you have time enough, do not forget to visit the castle!
