|Basic information about river|
Rolava river is navigable within snow thaw in spring or after heavy rains. The upper section (near to Nejdek) is navigable really exceptionally at very high water level. The passage through town of Nejdek is problematic, owing to high stages in embanked river-bed. After Nejdek it is better, it is sufficient less water, howere, we have to calculate with a fact that on cascades the bottoms of our boats will be frayed out. Anyway, from Nová Role this small river is better for navigation. The water register in Stará Role is not decisive. The navigation on upper flow is difficult and suitable for experienced watermen only. The section from Nová Role is, however, less interesting and less difficult.
