Paddlers know this small town on the Sazava. When they travel through this place, they have the wildest part of the river behind them. Its called Stvoridla and Slunezni Zatoka, the place where popular Czech novel Rychle Sipy took place. Perhaps there they landed to dry out their boats and enjoyed melancholy related to the novel.

There are many beautiful views in the Sazava river in the region of Central-Bohemia. One of them is on a rocky top of Hadi Skala. The view is over a valley right in front of the town of Davle, where the Sazava meets the Vltava River. A circular route mostly goes through forests and easy terrain. The route is 6 kilometers long. The start place is the town of Petrov. From there we follow the yellow path.

As the name implies, it is the ruin of Kostelec nad Sazavou castle. The ruins are visible from Hradecice hill, in Cizov u Tynce nad Sazavou natural reservation. After 300 meters of hike a beautiful view to the valley and the Sazava river opens to you.

There are villages and villages. The village, where we take you this time is full of charm. There nearly seven hundred people lives. In the summer season, and even at its very end, when the weather is not as challenging, but there is more populous. Attraction for tourists is eponymous castle, respectively its very well preserved ruins and few fixed parts.

Žďár nad Sázavou is a city known mainly Santini pilgrimage church of St. Jan of Nepomuk on Zelená hora, sign on list UNESCO World Heritage Site. Who would look for this miracle the centre, would be disappointed. Monuments stand on the edge of town. But we still stay in the centre of Žďár and the church will be discussed in detail sometimes later.
