River description:
The river takes its sources in Novohradské Mountains at foot of Vysoká Hill. First, it flows to the north, anyway, near to community of Byňov turns to northwest and later to west, keeping this direction to its mouth into Malše river near Doudleby.

Borovany: late Gothic church arranged in Baroque style, monastery church of 15th century, castle of second half of 18th century, arranged in Baroque style.
Trocnov: native place of Jan Žižka of Trocnov with its monument and statue.
Nové Hrady: Gothic church arranged in Renaissance style, the second castle with a park, nature reservation Terčino valley and Červené Blato (Red Mud).
