River description:
The river sources in Bohemian Forest bear velké Dvorce and heads for east. It turns to north-east, to its mouth into Mže-river near the town of Stříbro. Its river basin makes 297 km². In its upper section the river flows through the countryside of ponds and open valley, which becomes a little deeper near Stříbro. The surroundings of a river are edged by forests, the bed is narrow with a moderate stream, but quite clear.
Úhlavka river is navigable at higher water level, after snow-thaw in spring , heavy rains or ponds-flowing out. The water index is 80 cm, sufficient for passage, situated 300 m in front of its mouth. The navigation speed is average, small complication makes the sectrion near to the community of Kladruby.
