River description:

The brook sources near Třebouň in Tepelská vrchovina. It flows mostly to the south and mouths into Mže (Dam of Hracholusky) from its left side. Its river basin makes 333 km². The brook flows through afforested deserted and romantic valley without civilization. On its lower section you can notice a swelling of Hracholusky basin. The river bed is not wide, it is clear and there are not many overgrown places. Úterský potok (brook) is exceptionally navigable during snow-thaw or after heavy rains.

Its orientative water-index is situated in Trpisty, which would sign 50 cm. The navigation is not difficult nor dangerous.
