This route (recently reconstructed) could be started in Hlubočepy, below Barrandov Bridge. Several quarries changed the original terrain, where you can see geological construction of this area. In the first quarry, near to the small chapel, you can obtain marvellous fossils from decayed limestones. The chapel was build by French soldiers in 1742. So, you continue to great massif rocks, where penetrated, into older sediments, basaltic volcanic minerals. You drive up to the quarter of Malá Chuchle. Originally, this locality was small spa in past. Now, small torreent flows through, containing big quantity of dissolved limestone. In Chuchelský háj, you can visit small ZOO-garden.

It is accessible free of charge. This route had good traffic connection. You can reach Velká Chuchle by bus No. 172 from Smíchov Railway Station (underground „B“, trains), Hlubočepy could be reached by tram No. 12.
