This artificial canal is situated in the suburbs of České Budějovice, and it is composed from two parts. The upper section is 350 metres long and it begins with starting basin, suitable also for bathing, and terminates with five concrete thresholds.

The lower part begins with raft sluice and the route, after 260 metres distance, estuaries back into Vltava-river.

Camping place for 300 persdons is available along the canal, accommodation possibilities are in a lodge.
