Vltava river is created by confluence of Teplá (Warm) and Studená (Cold) Vltava in a natural preserve Mrtvý luh near to the community of Nová Pec in Bohemian Forest.

This area was afforested in past. Now, the countryside is fully agriculture region. Rokytka brook cuts into flat Roman platform. The community of Nedvězí existed here just from 14th century. In 1923, there was open here a museum with ethnographical collection obtained from environs. However, the museum does not exist here any more, its collections were moved to Říčany Museum. Rokytka brook is fully embanked in a community. Nevertheless, the valley above is preserved in its nature stage, and it is preserved as nature monument Mýto. The water is pure and you can find here eight sorts of fish. Moreover, 22 sorts of mammals were discovered here. However, this path was not kept in good order within long time period, so only two tables with a map and a couple of information plates remained here.
