Natural Park Šárka-Lysolaje

The park, created in 1990, is situated in the northwestern part of Prague. Its surface has
1005 ha and its axis forms Šárecký potok (Šárka Brook) – from Džbán-dam up to the confluence with Vltava river. Šárecké údolí (Šárka Valley) is an excursion point of inhabitants since 19th century. Anyway, in spite of vast stone-mining belongs this valley to the most prevented natural areas of Prague. Vizerka, Zlatnice, Dolní Šárka, Baba, Housle and Jenerálka form protected localities.
You find complete system of tourist marked signs in the whole area. The base forms so called red circle connecting most interesting places. The system is added with yellow and green marked signes. Divoká Šárka with its primeval ground and two rock passes is natural and cultural monument . You find here several view, altans, places of rest and forest´s playgrounds.
