River description:
The river sources not far distant from Polish border in East Beskydy Mountains. It flows in southwest direction and mouths into Laborec-river from its left side. The length of passable section makes 38 kms, and river-basin surface makes 500 square kilometres. At first, Cirocha flows through nice afforested valley. The river has sharp slope, river-bed is 5-8 m wide, stony and full of gravel, on several places barricated with fallen trees. So, this fact requires experienced watermen and increased attention. After Snina, the river becomes wider. Nevertheless, power water stream and some surprise in river bed could follow you up to the mouth. Cirocha-river is passable at higher water level only, the upper section at very high water level only. Navigation from Snina is quite safe at water register index of 95 cm – near to the bridge.
