River description:

This brook springs on western slopes of Vepor Hills. At first, it flows in northwest direction. At mouth of Hroneček, it turns towards northeast, and this direction is to be kept up to its mouth into Čierny Hron (Black Hron-river). River basin makes 84 km², navigable section makes 11 kms.

River bed has remarkable slope, its wide is 4-6 metres, The river-bed is made from sharp stones. This fact causes serious danger for boats. Kamenistý brook flows through beautiful, uninhabited countryside. In its upper part, along its left bank, there is consequently built forest way. However, building works cause often obstacles in navigation.
