River description:
The river flows in west direction, from right takes Laborec-river, and later joins Ondava-river. The united flow of these two rivers ia known under the name of Bodrog. Latorica flows throughout East Slovakia Lowland, makes meandres and cuts under the niveau of surrounding terrain. In spring, its river bed is filled up with water from snow thaw, an the river is preading into surrounding meadows, pasture-lands and into forests. So, we meet here, from this reason, with extend nests of protecting piers, which prevent inundation of further soil. Latorica is navigable all year round.
