River description:

The river sources in Široká dolina (Wide Valley) below Čertovica in Low Tatra Mountains. From here, it flow mostly to southwest, up to the  community of Bystrá, where it mouths into Bystrianka. Its river-bed takes 54 km², navigable section makes 6,5 kms.

Štiavnička is small mountain river with narrow and stony river-bed, 5-6 m wide. Thresholds, many rapids and fallen trees make the regular navigation quite difficult. Near to the community of Mýto pod Ďumbierom, there is necessary to overcome violent stream in difficult nature stage in narrow bed , where there is a small chance for landing.
