River description:
The river sources on western slopes of Strážov Hills. At first, it flows in south-west direction, near to village of Krásná Ves it turns to the south, and this direction is kept to its mouth to Nitra-river, near to the town of Topolčany. River-basin surface makes 634 square kilometres, only 21 kms is suitable for descent.
