In the Stubaier Gletscher, the largest glacier ski resort, hairy mascots await small skiers in the BIG Family Ski-Camp. Children from the age of four learn to ski in the colorful world of BIG Family Kinderland, while very young children are well looked after at the BIG Family Kindergarten.
The 3S Eisgratbahn cable car to the Stubai Glacier Kingdom is just a 45-minute drive from Innsbruck. At an altitude of 2,900 meters, the glacier offers a snow guarantee from October to June.
A new and very special feature of the Gamsgarten is the giant mammoth B: GIANT, ready for family photography. Small skiers can enjoy the BIG Family Boardercross with drums and sharp corners, the BIG Family Slalom, or the kilometer BIG Family Fun Slope. Future freestyle stars are waiting for BIG Family Slopestyle with various railings and obstacles. Also worth a visit is the ice cave, located 30 meters below the ski slope, where the mysterious and fascinating world of eternal ice awaits you. Of course there will also be a magical tasting of grilled specialties by visitors who plan a holiday here at a given date.
Meanwhile, the BIG Ron mascot will entertain children in the children's world. It is equipped with magic carpets, a ski carousel, a wild slalom route, colorful flags and an obstacle course, which will take care of entertainment for young and old for a while.
The Night of Colors night ski show, which takes place eight times in winter at Froneben Central Station, offers a varied, fiery and spectacular program that will surely brighten children's eyes. In addition, the subsequent night tobogganing will ensure a fun peak of the day!
Amazing Experience in Elfer and Serles Resorts
Three perfectly groomed toboggan runs at the Elferbahnen gondola lift offer a lot of fun on the snow for the whole family. Three times a week, the toboggan run into the village is illuminated at night, and the cable car to the Pinnistal Valley illuminates the lamps every Friday. Fast descents will ensure an unforgettable holiday experience. For the youngest guests who want to practice skiing, there is a training slope in the resort Krossbach. The relatively flat terrain with ski lift and magic carpet is ideal for first attempts.
A picturesque toboggan run awaits the small ski stars right next to the valley station of the Serlesbahnen Mieders. A variety of teaching aids, such as ski lifts and magic carpets, help young skiers to be sure of their first turns. As always, the fun and joy of movement comes first. Even in these ski resorts, all children under 10 years of age are accompanied by a paying parent free of charge.
