The connection between the Austrian Marchegg and the village of Vysoká pri Morave has been restored after more than a hundred years. The new Vysomarch bridge connected the international Eurovelo 13 cycle route with the Austrian national cycle route Kamp-Thaya-March. The historic connection between the two halves of the bridge structure took place on October 19, 2021, and the completion took place during the spring of 2022. While in the past there were up to 12 towns (bridges and fords) on the Austrian-Slovak border, where it was possible to cross the Morava River, during the period of the so-called not a single road bridge survived the Iron Curtain.
