At the confluence of the Žitava and Zlatnianka rivers lies the district town of Zlaté Moravce, a town of nearly 12 thousand inhabitants. From the tourist point of view, it offers a large number of sights and attractions, including the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, the bank building with elements of Renaissance and Baroque style, the neo-Romanesque mausoleum or the Migazzi castle.
