Centre of Madrid is rich for interesting places, cultural and social events and the beautiful art treasures. One of them is the Cathedral of Santa Maria la Real de la Almudena, situated close to the royal palace. It represents a mixture of neo-classicist, Gothic and Romanesque styles. It is interesting valuable stained glass, paintings and two cross-shaped ships.

Huge almost 350 hectares area, a number of charming nooks, adapted shrubs, flower beds, shady forest and the sun-heated artificial lake with romantic boats, rare statues and memorials or musicians.
