We spend the end of the work week in another picturesque French town. Nîmes. There are amazing sights dating back to the antiquity. The most important one is an amphitheater built in the 1st century AD. Its proportions are impressive - 133 to 101 meters. About 21 thousand people could fit inside its auditorium. Photos from the German city of Wuppertal look amazing - like animated illustrations from a futuristic comic book, thanks to the Schwebebahn suspended public transport route. Trains hovering over the river or above the street on the third floor of the surrounding houses have been running on this track since 1901, and since 1997, the Schwebebahn deserves state protection.
