Our steps today head to Horna Orava, to a small swamp lake that is of large cultural and natural importance.
After a visit in Murtal last week we will take you to other Styrian regions where you can seek relax and experiences as a part of one package. We will give you tips for events, sights or attractions long to remember.
The month of May is often called “a time for love”. It means that one should do walks either in couple or together with your children or beloved parents. What about to go for a walk together, a whole family? Today we celebrate Mothers Day. It would be nice to spend it all together.

Today we move northwards, to the Yaroslavl Oblast in the Russian Federation. We visit an ancient town that today is one of the most important tourist centers in Russia and also is part of the so called Russian Golden Circle.

One of the most densely populated areas in Slovakia and even in the Central Europe has several unusual natural nooks. One of them is forest Stary Haj, that was declared protected landscape area. To this very forest we go today.
Last week we have visited the town of Vent and its ski resort. Today we continue in our trip in the Tyrolan ridge. Today our goal is legendary Ötzi, the ice man.
Today we move together to Novohrad region. We visit the most interesting nooks of this small town. Also we walk around a beautiful ruin of Filakovsky Castle.
In western Slovakia along the Vah River there is one of the oldest Slovakian places, an ancient center of market, economy and culture. A city of kings, fashion and the most known Slovakian festival. Please accept our invintation for a short walk in Trencin, a gem of center Povazi.
Today we visit a small Austrian town of Vent. Since 1854 it has been part of Sölden town, Tyrol. We will visit a well-known ski center and we will also follow the trace of legendary Ötzi, the ice man.
Today we go for a romantic walk to Strbske Pleso, a district of Strba town. It is a place that is popular among fishermen, however today it is a place where families with children go to, or where couples meet in the middle of Tatranian nature.
Nuweiba is located right on the Sinai Peninsula by the Bay of Aqaba. It is a hardly noticeable village flooded with sand. Despite its small size, it is a paradise where you will relax and chill out.
As every mountain range, even Small Carpathians has its dominant peaks. They are above the surrounding lands. Peaks of these several giants make characteristic panorama of the Small Carpathians. They create visible dominants, they are orientation spots and give beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. One of these impressive titans of the Small Carpathians is Vysoka.
The city of Trnava is located in the central part of Trnavian Highlands. From historical point of view, it is one of the most interesting cities in Slovakia. Lets join us in exploration of this city. Since ancient times, trade routes crossed it, rulers changed and breathtaking sacral buildings were erected.
The Small Carpathian Mountains are not the highest mountain range in Slovakia. Nevertheless, they have a lot to offer. There are many interesting and picturesque nooks. From some peaks there are magnificent views of the landscape. However, the visitor will be enchanted by deep forests, caves, or many rock formations along the ridges.
Two weeks later we go again to the Tatras. This time we visit a small village of Tatranska Lesna. It is located almost in the middle on the road from Stary Smokovec and Tatranska Lomnica. On one side it borders with the Path of Freedom and from the other side with the mouth of Studena Valley.
Certainly I am not the only one who used services of a lowcost airlines. To be honest, I have never regretted doing this. I was pleasantly surprised that such a journey gave as a bonus.
There are many beautiful views in the Sazava river in the region of Central-Bohemia. One of them is on a rocky top of Hadi Skala. The view is over a valley right in front of the town of Davle, where the Sazava meets the Vltava River. A circular route mostly goes through forests and easy terrain. The route is 6 kilometers long. The start place is the town of Petrov. From there we follow the yellow path.
One Saturday in March, we set out to exploring our capital, Bratislava. We had learned that it has a new landmark. It is devoted not only to tourists from abroad, but mostly to locals. The attraction is the so-called Street of Light.
As the name implies, it is the ruin of Kostelec nad Sazavou castle. The ruins are visible from Hradecice hill, in Cizov u Tynce nad Sazavou natural reservation. After 300 meters of hike a beautiful view to the valley and the Sazava river opens to you.
