Although winter is in full swing and snow inspires people to put on ski boots rather than hiking boots. However, it is time to schedule trips for the summer season. Those planning to go to the High Tatras, for example, may rise to one of the easternmost mountains shields, Velka Svistovka (2037 meters). Because the adjacent Kezmarska Biela Voda Valley could be walked through also in winter, many winter hikers will appreciate the following tip.
My trip from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon was relatively fast. Desert crossed by a freeway slightly changed to forests of northern Arizona.
Although winter for us this year is very generous in terms of snow, completely free of snow, we're just left. Although not all ski resorts have sufficient snowy, winter sports enthusiasts will certainly come into their own, mainly thanks to artificial snow.

The town of Tabor is located in Jihocesky Region on the Luznice river. It has about 35 thousand inhabitants and is the second largest town of the region, after Ceske Budejovice. The historical center of Tabor is a landmark reservation, thus it is an important tourist destination.
As many other places in the High Tatras (2314 meters) even Bystre Sedlo is not that well known among tourists. Perhaps, it is given to the fact that there is no cottage that would offer tourists some refreshments after being whole day on food. Or, perhaps, the route is not leading to any of the High Tatras’ peaks. There are only a few people but you will definitely enjoy your time in untouched Tatran nature.
To Grand Canyon, I traveled from Las Vegas. It was about mid-November so I enjoyed cool temperatures. Before I left, I had decided to treat myself, so I entered a first diner I saw and ordered pancakes for breakfast.

It is about 470 kilometers away from Prague which, on a freeway, takes about 4-5 hours of driving. We did not regret long drive because being in Legoland was like being in another world. Zirovnice is a town located in the district of Pelhrimov in the Region of Vysocina. There live about 3000 people. As for geography, Pelhrimov is part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands.
