Germany: Günzburg – Legoland

LEGOLAND Günzburg is located in Germany between Munich and Stuttgart. It cover the area of 17,6 hectares. It is about 470 kilometers away from Prague which, on a freeway, takes about 4-5 hours of driving. We did not regret long drive because being in Legoland was like being in another world. We returned with many experiences.

It is great for the summer as well as the winter season. In winter, it changes to skiing area of Reutte. In summer it is a great opportunity to visit beautiful castles around. We drive from the Czech Republic across Germany to Austria.

Winter is here again. For some, it is perhaps too cold and harsh, but to me it is the most popular season of the year. Everything is hidden under a fluffy white blanket of snow and acts somewhat calmer, and even cleaner than the rest of the year. It is also a time of winter holidays in the mountains, meeting with friends over a glass of mulled wine or it is a time of a great cabbage soup, which will warm you up in this season.

Those are like a balsam to visitors’ ears.

Those who love nature will sure agree with my following statement – the end of summer and beginning of autumn is the best period for tourism. Everything seems more beautiful and more quite because the tourist season is long gone and the winter season haven’t even began.
